Company Overview
RACAM Security & Communications Limited is a company founded by Brian Maguire and Joseph Armstrong. Between them they have over 53 years experience within the industry. This experience was gained with companies such as STC, GEC Reliance, Lander Alarms, Modern Security Systems, Thorn Security and finally ADT where they worked in both the service and installation departments before leaving to start their own company. |

The company has been trading since May 1998 and specialises in carrying out professional installations as a subcontractor with major companies such as ADT Fire and Security, Balfour Kilpatrick's, Semple Cochrane Plc, to name but a few.
In addition to this we have a number of clients who we work direct to, Glasgow City Council being one of them. |

As a multi-disciplined company we specialise in all aspects of the security industry particularly the pre-build installation and commissioning of CCTV systems. We also install test and commission and maintain fibre optic networks (mainly but not limited to multi-mode), for which we have invested in splicing machines tooling and test equipment. We currently maintain the private fibre networks for Glasgow City Councils public space CCTV system.
We currently have ten full time and one part time members of staff, which includes three apprentices at various stages of their training. |
